The Furniture Buying Process 2015
The following report will present the findings of our in-depth look at the furniture buying process from the customer’s point of view. It is the result of a national survey conducted by Impact Consulting Services, Inc. in 2014. The aim of this report is to compile, evaluate, and present the opinions of a group of recent furniture purchasers in order to guide providers of home furnishings as they search for the best way to bring their products to the attention of the end-users.
Impact Consulting solicited the attitudes of a geographically and demographically balanced field of 500 consumers. These purchasers were profiled according to various criteria. These criteria included age and income, gender, their lifestyle cluster, certain buying attitudes, and the motivators that encourage them to purchase furniture.
